Irish Daily Star Editor: "Kate Middleton Is No Different Than Gaga And Rihanna"

Kate Middleton is just "any other celebrity" to the editor of the Irish Daily Star, who recently published the topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge.

"The duchess would be no different to any other celeb pics we would get in, for example Rihanna or Lady Gaga," Mike O'Kane told the BBC.

"She's not the future queen of Ireland so really the only place this is causing fury seems to be in the UK", O'Kane claimed.

"Everybody in Ireland wants to know what all the kerfuffle is about," he added, stating printing the photos was a "service to our readers. She's married into the royal family, she's one of the most photographed people in the world, and she decides to partially disrobe on a balcony where it can be seen from a public road and she's stunned now," he chided.

It has to be noted that the scadal began from the French magazine Closer, which has since removed the offending photos from its website.

An Italian gossip magazine owned by the same company, is also planning to publish.

It has to be mentioned that the photos are not being published in the Northern Ireland edition of The Irish Daily Star. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, and no UK publication is risking the royal legal fury.

It is clear that the editors of these magazine don't respect the privacy of Kate and William. It is very offending the future Queen of England to be compared to Lady Gaga and Rihanna. What do you think?
