Many people seem to wonder: "Is Rachel Weisz Jewish?". Well, the truth is that Weisz is Jewish.  









To be more specific, Rachel Weisz has revealed in some interviews that she is Jewish. She has discussed the fact that her Hungarian-born father, an inventor, fled to England to escape the Nazis and in 2001, gave an incredibly insightful interview to "Blackbook Magazine" about being a Jewish woman in Hollywood. 

Rachel's dad is definitely Jewish.

Rachel's mother is half Austrian-Italian Catholic. She was "raised Catholic" and - according to "Vogue" magazine - later converted to Judaism.

Weisz' maternal grandfather, Alexander Teich, was also Jewish, and had been a secretary of the "World Union of Jewish Students".


Conclusion: Rachel Weisz is Jewish.
