In detail, according to celebrity website TMZ Josh Brolin was arrested for public intoxication just before midnight on January 1 in Santa Monica, California. According to law enforcement sources, Brolin was booked into jail at 3:02 a.m. and then released at 7:14 a.m. on January 2.
Brolin, 44, paid the $250 bail and will not have to go to court since he was not given a citation for the arrest.
Sources close to Brolin revealed to TMZ that the Brolin was partying with a couple of his good pals and simply ended up having "too much fun."
