Michelle Obama Plastic Surgery

The first African-American First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama (full name: Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama) is rumored to have gone under the plastic surgeon's knife to improve her physical appearance.

To be more specific, Obama, 49, is rumored to have had a nose job and botox injections.

Judging by the before and after photos, it appears that Michelle had a nose job as the bridge of her nose looks refined.

The question is: "What plastic surgeon experts believe about the First Lady's plastic surgery?"

NY-based plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Fallek speculates there may have been minor amounts of Botox used on the First Lady.

"(She) may have had a little Botox to the forehead and brow area for a small lift," Dr. Faller told celebrity website Hollywood life. "No surgery suspected. On a still photo where you can't see movement, the overly raised or arched or "Dr. Spock" eyebrows are the usual give away."

NY-based dermatologist Dr. Katz agreed, claiming: "It looks like her eyebrows are quite highly arched and that's usually a tip off that someone has had Botox."

Dr. Adam D. Schaffner of Weill Cornell Medical College also considers that Michelle is using Botox. "Mrs. Obama may have had Botox injected in the area around her eyes, between her eyebrows, as well as in her forehead, to soften the appearance of some of the wrinkles in these areas," he revealed to Hollywood Life.

Dr. David J. Goldberg, chief of dermatology at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, doesn't believe Michelle has had Botox but a different form of cosmetic help.

"She has the classic look of the "Liquid Facelift,"" Dr. Goldberg was quoted as saying. "That is she has the look of the facelift…she may had liquid fillers injected and did not have surgery. In the past fillers were used only for smile lines. Now we can use specialized fillers in the cheek and along the jawline to give natural-looking cheek fullness and a lift of the jawline. These fillers are usually either Radiesse or Sculptra."

According to NY-based plastic surgery consultant, Wendy Lewis, Michelle doesn't appear to have had any youth-enhancing injections.

"Michelle is a handsome woman who takes great care of herself and it shows," Lewis told HollywoodLife. "We know she works out, her skin is luminous and she looks stunning. As for cosmetic intervention, I doubt she is doing much, if anything."

Wendy pointed out that women of color show aging signs later than fair skinned women, adding: "I have heard, however, that she has a brilliant Dermatologist in the DC area so perhaps good skincare is her secret."

Sarasota, Fla., plastic surgeon Dr. J David Holcomb is not absolutely sure that Botox was used. He suspects another medical procedure.

"Based on photos and compared to a previous photo in 2009 her brows are softer with a gentler arch - this may be partly due to Botox at the glabella area but may also be the result of brow shaping," he told the website. "She doesn't have crow's feet lines with smiling but this doesn't mean she has definitely had Botox in this area. She has a slight natural asymmetry of the eyelids seen on other photos, so it's not the result of a Botox complication."

Conclusion: With or without plastic surgery, the First Lady looks great at her age as she doesn't have deep wrinkles and she preserves her expression lines.

What do you think? Did Michelle Obama have plastic surgery?
