Shannon Tweed Surgery

Canadian actress and former Playboy model Shannon Tweed (full name: Shannon Lee Tweed) has reportedly had surgery to maintain her youthful image.

In detail, Tweed, 56, underwent a facelift with her husband Gene Simmons, which was televised on their reality TV show "Family Jewels".

Shannon admitted that her husband was the one who really needed the surgery and she just didn't want to appear older than him, so she decided to go under the surgeon's knife too.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ryan performed the couple's facelifts for 11 hours straight. Their two children, Nick, 18, and Sophie, 14, were really worried about their parents, especially after the terrifying bandaged face which Simmons was sporting right after surgery. Simmons had both a facelift, eyelid surgery and liposuction. Tweed had a facelift and a lower lid adjustment.

Both facelifts had been costing $40.000, at least that was revealed by their plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan, but it is rumored in the end that the procedures were free.

It has to be noted that Tweed wasn't delighted with the surgery results and she is rumored to have had many surgery procedures after it to fix her face. On the other hand, Simmons was quite satisfied with the surgery results, probably because he was the one who actually needed something fixed - his face had a lot of loose skin because of natural aging process so the surgery that he underwent made him seem much younger.

Conclusion: Shannon Tweed looked more youthful and beautiful before surgery as her appearance now is fake and "plastic". It would have been better if the surgery wouldn't have happened at all because it is undeniably over the top and as a result her skin now appears unnaturally tight.

What do you think of Shannon Tweed's surgery?
