"Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan Reveals Suicide Attempt

"Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan (birth name: César Millán Favela) revealed yesterday in an interview aired on Rock Center that he made a suicide attempt three years ago.
In detail, his pit bull, Daddy, had passed away; his relationship with his sons faltered after his wife of 16 years asked for a divorce; even amid all his TV fame, he was bankrupt. "It's like: "OK, I'm a failure. The reason why this has happened is because of me,"" Millan was quoted as saying, adding: "I took a whole bunch of pills and tried to kill myself."

Millan, 43, claimed he wanted to die, but his children called paramedics and he was saved. He woke up in a psychiatric hospital to find out that his fellow patients were also fans. The Mexican dog trainer stated that gave him "a sense of belonging. I got a sense of purpose." He turned things around and now has a new show: "Cesar Millan's Leader of the Pack".
