Matthew Morrison Dedicates Emotional Performance To Cory Monteith

Matthew Morrison opened his New York concert on Sunday with a moving dedication to "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith.


Performing at 54 Below in Manhattan, Morrison reportedly strated by expressing shock and sadness at Monteith's sudden death.

He then sang "What I Did For Love" - from the musical "A Chorus Line" and featured on "Glee" - a capella in Monteith's memory.


According to reports, the emothional rendition also included a two-fingered salute to his "brother," with Morrison also expressing the awkwardness of performing in light of the tragic news.




According to
the New York Times he revealed to the audience: "You guys came to see a show, I came to perform a show, so that's what we'll do. And we'll do it in Cory's honor."
