Royal Baby Names

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge requested not to be aware of the baby's gender, so the people are left making assumptions of the possibly male and female names in the run up its birth.  


Needless to say that betting shops are anticipating with wild excitement - which has reached almost unprecedented levels - as the public who would not usually gamble take a flutter on the Royal occasion.

There have been some more unusual choices, including bets on Waynetta and Mohammed, but Alexandra remains favorite with Charlotte, Diana, Elizabeth and Victoria following in the top five choices.

According to one Ladbrokes bookmakers, a large amount of bets have been placed on the name James - the name of Catherine's younger brother.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes was quoted as saying: "This is the first major gamble we've had on a boy's name and with just days to go we're taking it very seriously."
