"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" Set For 2015

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" will debut in theaters on May 1, 2015, Marvel announced at Comic-Con on Saturday, with director Joss Whedon revealing a short early teaser for the movie.


Its plot will be rooted in the 10-issue limited "Age of Ultron" comic book series concerning the titular super-villain's takeover of Earth and eventual battle with the all-star band of superheroes.

As part of the company's panel presentation, footage from the upcoming "Thor: The Dark World" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" was also screened.

It has to be noted that the first "Avengers" film, released last year, became the third-highest grossing movie of all time.
