Shannon Tweed Plastic Surgery

According to reports, Canadian actress and former Playboy model Shannon Tweed (full name: Shannon Lee Tweed) has had plastic surgery to turn back the hands of time.  


In detail, Tweed, 56, underwent a facelift with her husband Gene Simmons, which was televised on their reality TV show "Family Jewels".

Shannon admitted that her husband was the one who really needed the plastic surgery and she just didn't want to look older than him, so she made the decision to go under the plastic surgeon's knife as well.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ryan performed the pair's facelifts for 11 hours straight. Their two kids, Nick, 18, and Sophie, 14, were really concerned about their parents, especially after the shocking bandaged face which Simmons was sporting right after plastic surgery. Simmons had both a facelift, eyelid surgery and liposuction. Tweed had a facelift and a lower lid adjustment.

Both facelifts had been costing $40.000, at least that was revealed by their plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan, but it is rumored in the end that the operations were free.

It has to be mentioned that Tweed wasn't happy with the results of the procedures and she is rumored to have had many plastic  surgeries after it to improve her face. 

On the other hand, Simmons was quite delighted with the plastic surgery results, probably because he was the one who basically needed something fixed - his face had a lot of loose skin because of natural aging process, so the plastic surgery that he underwent made him appear much younger.

Conclusion: Shannon Tweed seemed more youthful and beautiful before plastic surgery as her appearance now is fake and "plastic". It would have been better if the plastic surgery wouldn't have taken place at all because it is undoubtedly over the top and as a result her skin now looks unnaturally tight.
