Katy Perry CoverGirl Debut

Katy Perry is the latest face of CoverGirl.


Perry's first ad was revealed on Wednesday.

"BEAUTIFUL news to share w/you all. Today is my 1st day as a @COVERGIRL! See what happens when you let the light in?" Perry wrote on twitter.

Perry, 28, is following in the footsteps of other celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Pink, Queen Latifah, Ellen DeGeneres and Sofia Vergara, all of whom have served as spokeswomen for the makeup company.
