Country Legend Ray Price Dead At 87

Country music icon Ray Price has died. He was 87.


Price had suffered with pancreatic cancer in recent months and was receiving hospice care.

His passing was prematurely reported over the weekend, but his family actually announced the devastating news on Monday.

According to a facebook post by country radio legend Bill Mack, who has been in close contact with Price's family, the performer "went in perfect peace."





Price's career spanned decades, peaking in the 1960s and created hits including "Pride", "For the Good Times" and "Walk Me to the Door."
