Johnny Depp Teams Up With Morgan Freeman In "Transcendence" (TEASERS)

The first teasers for "Transcendence" premiered on Thursday.

In the film, Johnny Depp, 50, portrays the foremost researcher of artificial intelligence who goes on a quest to physically embed himself in new technology.

The first video features Depp eerily discussing how technology is dominating the world.



In the second, Morgan Freeman, 76, claims the next revolution may "not be human at all."

Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Hall and Paul Bettany are also featured in the film.



The movie, produced by Christopher Nolan and directed by director Wally Pfister (the cinematographer of "The Dark Knight Rises"), is scheduled to open in April.
