Most Fascinating Person Of 2013 Is...

Hillary Clinton was named the "Most Fascinating Person" of 2013 by Barbara Walters on Wednesday.

Walters, 84, announced her choice at the end of her annual ABC special: "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013."

"This program started with the dawn of the Clinton era, and it seems we might be at the start of another," Walters was quoted as saying.

Clinton, 66, stated in the interview that she hasn't decided on whether to run for president, but believes it is important for a woman to be in the White House.

Asked what she wants her "mark" on the world to be, Hillary responded: "That I did the best I could. That I lived a life of integrity and service."

Last year, Walters selected General David Petraeus for the top spot.

This marks the final year of Walters' special, as she will retire next spring.
