Paul Walker Fatal Crash Driver Identified As Car Company CEO Roger Rodas (PHOTOS)

According to several reports, the driver in the fatal car accident that killed Paul Walker has been identified as Roger Rodas.

According to local reports, Rodas was the CEO of Always Evolving, an automotive company and they were traveling in his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when control was lost and they hit a tree.

Walker was reportedly one of Always Evolving's owners and Rodas himself was a former race car driver.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department issued the following statement: "When they arrived, deputies found the vehicle engulfed in flames. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded, extinguished the fire and subsequently located two victims inside the vehicle. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene."

While it has already been confirmed that speed was a factor in the crash, the department further explained: "The cause of the collision is under investigation by traffic investigators with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department."

"The Office of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner will determine the identities and the cause of death of the victims," the statement added.

Autopsies have reportedly been called off until the coroner can obtain dental records to help identify the bodies, which were badly burned in the collision.

The accident reportedly took place in the midst of charity event for Walker's philanthropic organization, Reach Out Worldwide.

Actor Scott Baio, a pal of Rodas, shared the tribute shot below and wrote: "Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now & at the hour of our death. Amen RIP Roger."

Walker himself posted an image with Rodas on his Facebook page in 2010 with a photo shared on the Always Evolving page.

Rodas, 38, reportedly is survived by his wife and two children.
