Paul Walker's Fatal Car Crash: Car May Have Malfunctioned

Sources closely connected to the auto shop where the car was stored and maintained believe that the Porsche in which Paul Walker brutally died, crashed as a result of mechanical failure - very possibly a steering fluid leak.

Sources tied to Always Evolving, the shop co-owned by the late 40-year-old star and the Porsche driver Roger Rodas, reveal they noticed evidence of a fluid burst and subsequent fluid trail before the skid marks at the crash scene.

The AE sources insist there is a noticeable absence of skid marks until just before the point of impact. They claim if Rodas had lost control the skid marks would show swerving, but instead the marks were in a straight line. They suspect this reinforces the theory the driver didn't have steering control.

There is also a possibility that the fire was spreading so quickly in the front of the vehicle. The insiders point out flames would be expected in the rear where the engine is, but fire in the front cements their theory of a fluid leak of some sort.

According to celebrity website TMZ, the $500,000 Carrera GT was not modified and was driven rarely so they suspect any failure must be a factory defect.

As one source was quoted as saying: "Roger was a world class driver" - and while he might have been speeding (as cops have said)…the notion he just lost control is preposterous".
