Kelly Osbourne On Broken Engagement: "It Just Wasn't The Right Time"

Kelly Osbourne opened up about her broken engagement on Thursday's "E! News."


Just in case you have missed it, the "Fashion Police" star and fiancé Matthew Mosshart went their separate ways earlier this week, nearly six months after announcing their engagement.

"It was a mutual decision. We love each other very much. It just wasn't the right time for us," Osbourne, 29, was quoted as saying.

"I think if we weren't as mature and adult (as) we are, then we could have gone down a road that wasn't really nice," Osbourne explained.




Osbourne revealed she and Mosshart, a chef whom she met in 2011, are "still really, really good friends, but "it's just we're not living in the same house."

"There's no dramatic story. I wish there was so I had something to tell people but no…" Osbourne noted, adding: "It just happens in life."

Osbourne's mother, Sharon, has already joked about Kelly's broken engagement claiming: "Let the auditions begin!"
