Miley Cyrus and Ryan Seacrest kissed on New Year's Eve, but the moment was missed by the TV cameras surrounding them.


Cyrus, 21, and Seacrest, 39, locked lips on "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve" when the ball dropped in Times Square.

Watchers instead noticed revelers celebrating and the pair hugging with other celebrity friends.

Miley took to twitter later to complain that they "missed our New Years kiss," but by Wednesday night, she had succeeded in discovering a picture of the kiss.

"Yay!!!! They caught our NY midnight kiss! Happy New Years @RyanSeacrest & thank you for having me," Cyrus wrote.
