Shia LaBeouf Slams Jim Carrey After Golden Globes Joke

Shia LaBeouf has blasted Jim Carrey on twitter after he joked about LaBeouf's plagiarism scandal while onstage at Sunday's Golden Globes.

During the ceremony, Carrey, 51, joked: ""Dying is easy. Comedy is hard." I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that. So young, so wise."

LaBeouf, 27, apparently wasn't pleased.

"If you explain @JimCarrey you've killed him, Nobody knows if it's for real or not. That way he's immortal," LaBeouf tweeted.

LaBeouf then sent out a link to a music clip by Jane Carrey Band - fronted by Jim's daughter.

LaBeouf went on: "At least I don't get arrested for indecency on major LA highways! Or abandon love child's."

Then LaBeouf apologized.

"Jim Carrey states that he is deeply involved in his daughter's life - I accept that, regret tweet on the matter," LaBeouf was quoted as saying, noting: "Apologies to both parents."

"I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE," he added.
