Malaya Watson Performs "I Am Changing" From "Dreamgirls" On "American Idol" (VIDEO)

Malaya Watson once again impressed the judges on "American Idol" on Wednesday, with a dynamic closing performance of "I Am Changing" from "Dreamgirls".

Shortly after Jennifer Lopez, 44, declared Jena Irene the "best" of the night, she and Keith Urban, 46, gave Watson a standing ovation and pointed out her "killer" vocal prowess.

"You have an amazing voice, oh my god," Lopez gushed, saying Watson the song was "a perfect song for you, a perfect way to end the show."

Harry Connick Jr., 46, told Watson proved to doubters that "Idol" does indeed have a powerhouse vocalist this season and claimed the best is yet to come.

"Your voice is just going to get thicker and bigger and it's going to be a pleasure to watch," Connick Jr. added.

Keith Urban, 46, agreed with both of them.

"Malaya, you got a really good understanding of the songs that play to your strengths," Urban told Watson, adding: "What you've got inside there, that's just gonna blossom, is magnificent."
