Ben Affleck On Robin Williams Death

Ben Affleck, who co-wrote and starred in "Good Will Hunting", for which Robin Williams received a Best Supporting Oscar in 1998, claims he is "heartbroken" and owes "everything" to the iconic actor who passed away after hanging himself with a belt. He was 63.

On Tuesday, Affleck, 41, shared on his Facebook page: "Heartbroken. Thanks chief - for your friendship and for what you gave the world. Robin had a ton of love in him. He personally did so much for so many people. He made Matt (Damon) and my dreams come true."

"What do you owe a guy who does that? Everything," Affleck pointed out, adding: "May you find peace my friend. #RobinWilliams."

Affleck joins Williams' daughter Zelda and a number of other celebrities who have been openly mourning and reacting to the Oscar winner's tragic death.

Needless to say that fans are grieving as well, including setting up memorials such as the one at the bench in Boston Public Gardens where Williams and Damon filmed the famous scene in "Good Will Hunting".
