G.R.L Pay Tribute To Simone Battle

Simone Battle's G.R.L bandmates have paid tribute to the tragic loss of her friend and colleague.

The former "X Factor" contestant and singer was found dead at her Los Angeles home on Friday morning in an apparent suicide. She was 25.

A G.R.L's record label released a statement on Saturday morning. "We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L. Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time."

On Saturday afternoon, Simone's shocked colleagues made their own statement.





"Words cannot express the depth of our loss. Simone's incredible talent was only surpassed by the size of her heart," the group wrote on twitter.

"We will carry her memory with us in everything we do."



The cause of death is currently unclear but an autopsy has been set for this weekend.
