Stephen Collins Resigns From SAG Board After Child Molestation Confession

Stephen Collins has resigned from his position on the National Board of the Screen Actors Guild after his shocking revelation to child molestation emerged on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for SAG has confirmed that Collins, 67, has quit the spot before the end of his three-year term.

The actor was also fired from the Committee for Stress-Free Schools, a project for which he had been co-director.

Collins was also removed from "Ted 2" on Tuesday.

The moves come following the release of a stunning recording in which the "7th Heaven" star confesses to his estranged wife that he had inappropriate sexual contact with numerous preteen girls.
