Waka Flocka Flame Arrested With Gun At Airport In Atlanta

Waka Flocka Flame was arrested on Friday after police officers discovered a handgun in his luggage at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.


According to Atlanta police, a scan detected the weapon when Waka Flocka Flame, whose real name is Juaquin Malphurs, attempted to take his carry-on bag through airport security.

The gun was supposedly loaded at the time it was found by airport security.



Waka, 28, did not have a gun's permit.


The rapper was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.

Waka Flocka is now in prison in the Clayton County jail and awaiting a bond hearing.
