Big Bank Hank Dead At 57

Big Bank Hank has died. He was 57.  











The Sugarhill Gang rapper, whose real name was Henry Jackson, was also well known as "Imp the Dimp". According to several reports, the  American old school rapper had been battling cancer.



His collaborators Wonder Mike and Master Gee revealed to celebrity website TMZ: "So sad to hear of our brother's passing. Rest in peace, Big Bank."

The trio's 1979 hit "Rapper's Delight" is considered the first major hip-hop single to gain mainstream success.
