Elton John Slams Dolce & Gabbana For "Synthetic Children" Comments, Other Celebrities React

Elton John took to social media to blast Dolce&Gabbana for claims about "synthetic children."

In an interview with Panorama, the designer duo said: "You are born to a mother and a father. Or at least that's how it should be," noting: "I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented wombs, semen chosen from a catalog."

"I'm gay, I cannot have a child," Dolce told the outlet, claiming: "Life has its natural course, there are things that must not be changed. And one of these is the family."

"We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one," Gabbana added.

"How dare you refer to my beautiful children as "synthetic,"" Elton John shared on his Instagram account of his kids with husband David Furnish, adding: "And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF - a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfil their dream of having children. Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. #BoycottDolceGabbana"

Other celebrities have supported Elton John's comments.
