Gwen Stefani Tries To Save Her $120 Million Fortune By Giving Gavin Rossdale A One-Time Pay-Off

It appears that Gwen Stefani's divorce from husband of 13 years Gavin Rossdale will be a bit nasty.

According to celebrity website Radar Online, instead of cutting their assets by half, Stefani, 45, is looking for a one time pay-off in order to stay away from losing a huge slice of her fortune.

Since the former pair did not have a prenup, according to California law their property will get divided evenly between the two. Though Rossdale, 49, is still worth millions as he has an estimated net worth of $35 million, it is no where near what the "No Doubt" frontwoman stands to lose in this entire process.

Gwen's net worth is supposedly a lot higher than the reported $80 million, which is compromised of her music, clothing line and judging gig on the reality talent show "The Voice". An insider revealed to Radar Online: "It's significantly more, around $120 million."

The source added: "Gwen has really struggled with the idea of just handing over half of her hard-earned money to Gavin, and there is a lot of anger there. Gwen is hoping to just pay Gavin off because she doesn't want to pay him any type of support. Gwen's approach is that she should get to keep what is hers."

As for Rossdale: "His lawyer, Laura Wasser is going to go after as much money she can get out of Gwen. It has gotten very contentious, very fast between the two."

Sadly, the two celebrities are going through a tough period as they are still living together in the same house, although in two separate rooms.
