Tori Spelling Weight Loss

Tori Spelling’s weight loss actually brought her into the spotlight in 2010 as she had lost more pounds than normal. She now sports a bony profile and attributes stress to her dramatic weight loss. Her health got affected because of the stressful relationship with her estranged mother, Candy Spelling, and also because of the liquid diet.

It has been witnessed that many people are resorting to liquid diets in order to shed extra pounds at a very steady pace. The main motive now is to gain svelte profile. Thus, unhealthy measures are also tested these days so that one can gain the envy of others just like Tori Spelling. To be more exact, Tori  lost around 40 pounds within 2 months by sticking to the liquid diets.

So, the question is : "How Tori lost 40 pounds in 2 months?"

Tori in fact consumed liquid diets for up to 10 days in order to lose extra pounds at a very steady pace. Such liquid diets can be consumed for up to 40 days depending on your patience and perseverance. While one is following this program he or she is not allowed to take any type of food. Since they are very low calorie diet it is always advisable that one should try to take vegetables and fruits along with it.

On the other hand, you should keep in mind the side effects of the liquid diet, such as the following:

1. You might suffer from fatigue and dizziness.

2. Hair loss can be the direct side effect of this program.

3.  Such a program might result in heart damage and electrolyte imbalance.

4.  You might also suffer from muscle pain and cold intolerance.

It is well known that liquid diets might lead to weight loss but what after that? The moment you return to your normal eating habits you once again start gaining weight. Thus, it is always advisable that one should opt for the natural methods.

We have to admit though that Tori has been pregnant three times and she has successfully dropped the extra pounds after each pregnancy! Some people have claimed that she’s been a little too successful at it and there are rumors that she has an eating disorder. Tori Spelling has insisted that she’s never struggled with anorexia.

After each pregnancy, Tori Spelling has stated that her family is her priority. She’s focused on spending time with her children instead of spending hours in the gym every day. Tori eats a balanced diet that includes actual meals.

Following Tori Spelling’s first pregnancy with baby Liam, she found that she was too busy with her newborn to cook. Her solution was a gourmet diet delivery service, which offers healthy menu items like cubed cantaloupe, low-fat yogurt and eggs for breakfast. A typical lunch on this meal plan features unlimited green vegetables with fat-free dressing and a low-fat chicken quesadilla. Dinner might be a buffalo chicken wrap and assorted veggies.

Tori ditched the diet delivery service after the birth of her second child, Stella. Instead, she focused on cooking wholesome, organic meals with her family. A typical breakfast for Tori Spelling was yogurt paired with fruit and nuts. She often made homemade soup for lunch, typically using a soy milk or sweet potato base.
Tori ate celery spread with peanut butter for a mid-afternoon snack with her kids. For dinner, she’d make a lean protein like chicken or fish, paired with plenty of assorted vegetables. This is a pretty healthy diet, but it could use some more complex carbs. We recommend oatmeal for breakfast or quinoa with dinner.

Rather than locking herself away in a gym for hours on end, Tori Spelling got her family interested in activities they could do together, like go for a walk or take a bike ride. When she does work out in a gym, Tori Spelling does yoga and some light weight lifting. She’s also been known to go for long jogs and kickboxing sessions with her husband.

Let's take a look below at Tori Spelling's daily diet plan:

Breakfast: Yogurt with fruit & nuts

    Lunch: Sweet potato soup

    Snack: Celery with peanut butter

    Dinner: Chicken & assorted veggies

It has to be mentioned that Tori in her new book "TerriTORI", she reveals why she shed so much weight.

According to USA Today, Spelling blamed swine flu, stomach pain, migraines and nerve problems for her weight loss. She revealed she had to take three rounds of antibiotics that caused severe stomach pain. "I've never had a great stomach, but (being ill) just completely tore up my stomach and broke down my immune system, and I've basically just been a mess ever since, stomach-wise," Tori quoted as saying. "It's about rebuilding my immune system."

It has to be added that tabloid rumors got so wild in 2010 that it prompted Tori Spelling to declare last fall on Twitter that she weighs 107 lbs.

"I'm a role model for a lot of women out there, so I hate that they say these things unwarranted, without any research and facts," Tori told. "I think it's doing a disservice to women out there that look up to any celebrity."
