One Direction Gives First Interview Since Zayn Malik Quit On "Late Show With James Corden" (VIDEO)

One Direction made an appearance at "The Late Show With James Corden" on Thursday.

The boys - Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - gave their first interview since Zayn Malik left the band.

"There's a bit back and forth. We're on good terms with him. I've never been very good at biting my tongue," Tomlinson, 23, explained about his feud on twitter with Malik, noting: "Yeah, it's all resolved."

Payne, 21, said about Zayn quitting the group: "At first we were a little bit angry, we were surprised. I think we all knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling. You could sort of tell. There's certain parts of this job Zayn loved and there's certain parts…we were angry at first and then it was just more disappointed," adding: "We wish him the best of luck with whatever he gets up to. There's no hard feelings."

When asked if they thought of going their separate ways altogether, they answered "no." Styles, 21, also said they never thought about replacing Malik either.
